Tayla is a qualified Credit Representative who joined the team at Mike Phipps Finance in 2021. Tayla holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business majoring in Finance and Marketing. Tayla also has a Diploma in Finance and Mortgage Brokering and is a member of the MFAA.

Prior to joining MPF Tayla worked as an office manager and has experience as a loan’s administrator in a home loan brokerage.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

In my spare time you will find me hanging out with my husband and two children, Harper and Ryder. I like to tire them out (husband included) so you’ll usually find us at the park, the beach or adventuring to a waterfall.

Why do you recommend using a Finance Broker when applying for a loan?

What is your best piece of advice for clients who are new to the accommodation industry?

Be organized and do your research. Purchasing in the accommodation industry is pretty full on. Be as organized as possible so you are not stressed and can make informed decisions. Research the best people to use as your accountants, lawyers etc. Make sure they are well-regarded in the industry and that you can communicate effectively with them. Your expert team will be your biggest asset in this industry, find the right people and absorb as much of their expertise as possible.

What is your favourite thing about working at Mike Phipps Finance?

Without a doubt it would be the team. We get along way too well and our skills and experiences complement each other perfectly. We all share a common goal and will always be available to lend a hand where it is needed. The sense of humour of everyone in the team makes even the longest days enjoyable.
